MEET MICHAEL

On a recent trip to our orthodontist, I had an idle moment while my daughter went back for x-rays. When they returned, the assistant gave me a curious look as I captured a few pictures of the foot controls used for operating the exam chairs. “It’s for a colleague’s project at work”, I reassured her.  On the previous day, a fellow designer had shared that he was needing new concepts for thumb operated controls on a product. That day, in that moment, I made a connection to solve a problem and help a friend.  It may sound cliché to say that one “lives and breathes design” - but that was it.  As an Industrial Designer, making connections is intoxicating.

 

Since 2002, I have sought opportunities to make those connections for consumers - empathizing with their needs and realizing their desires.  My mission is to help companies and individuals make those same connections, while driving value to the business.  Utilizing design methods, Lah Design can take you through the discovery, design, develop, and deliver phases to solve challenges, and take your product from concept to market.
